- How much does FPV drone filming cost?
- Packages start from £495 for a half day shoot, with full day packages from £895 and multi-day projects from £795 per day. Specialist FPV operations, complex locations, travel, accommodation, permissions, commercial productions and high-risk filming are quoted individually — get in touch for a custom quote.
- Where do you film? Do you cover the whole UK?
- We're based in Milton Keynes and regularly cover Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, and the wider Midlands. We travel nationally for the right project — get in touch to discuss locations.
- Do you hold the necessary CAA permissions and insurance?
- Yes. We operate under a CAA Flyer ID and carry full public liability insurance. We handle all required permissions and risk assessments before every shoot.
- How quickly will I receive the edited footage?
- Edited footage is typically delivered within 48–72 hours of the shoot. Rush turnaround is available — just let us know your deadline when booking.
- What formats and resolutions do you deliver in?
- We deliver 5K stabilised footage as standard, exported in H.264/H.265 at the resolution you need. We can supply raw files, social-ready cuts, or a fully edited package depending on your package.
- Is FPV actually worth it over a normal drone shot?
- Depends what you're shooting. For wide establishing shots and steady aerials, a standard gimbal drone is cheaper and does the job. FPV earns its keep when you want low, fast, close movement through or alongside the subject — chase shots, fly-throughs, proximity to people or vehicles. If your brief is a slow orbit over a building, you don't need us.
- Why do FPV day rates vary so much between operators?
- Mostly insurance, experience, and what's actually included. A cheap rate often excludes a spotter, doesn't carry adequate cover, or comes from someone without commercial flying hours. Our rates reflect CAA permissions, full insurance, and the spotter cost where the job requires one — not padding.
- What's the catch with rates starting from £495?
- No catch — it's a genuine starting rate for a straightforward half-day shoot close to Milton Keynes. It goes up for travel, complex locations, additional permissions, or anything needing a spotter. We quote those individually so you're not paying for risk you don't have.
